+# Link Heading Plugin
+
+A simple plugin for DokuWiki that creates clickable headings linking to
+internal DokuWiki pages.
+
+## Syntax
+
+By default, an H2 heading is created:
+
+    {{linkheading>TARGET|HEADING}}
+
+Example:
+
+    {{linkheading>oeffentlicheauslobung|Eine Überlegung zu Smart Glasses}}
+
+The heading level can be selected with a number from 1 to 6:
+
+    {{linkheading>LEVEL|TARGET|HEADING}}
+
+Example using H4:
+
+    {{linkheading>4|oeffentlicheauslobung|Eine Überlegung zu Smart Glasses}}
+
+Levels:
+
+- 1 = H1
+- 2 = H2
+- 3 = H3
+- 4 = H4
+- 5 = H5
+- 6 = H6
+
+If no level is specified, H2 is used.
+
+## Namespaces
+
+The target is handled as an internal DokuWiki link. DokuWiki namespaces
+can therefore be used as usual:
+
+    {{linkheading>3|datenschutz:oeffentlicheauslobung|Öffentliche Auslobung}}
